Successful human resource management in any business depends on the individual manager to a great extent, as does employee satisfaction and company performance.
This point is highlighted by a massive Gallup survey of 24 big companies over 25 years.

Clearly demonstrated is an obvious relationship between success and employee contentment, while there appears to be no correlation whatsoever between a company’s overall satisfaction rating and individual units’ achievements.
